Thirai Mozhi Announces the Inaugural Thirai Mozhi Literature Awards to Champion Literary Excellence
Chennai – Thirai Mozhi is proud to announce the establishment of the Thirai Mozhi Literature Awards, a landmark initiative designed to celebrate and encourage outstanding achievement in literature. This annual program has been created to honor the profound talent and dedication of writers and authors who enrich our cultural landscape. This initiative underscores Thirai Mozhi’s deep commitment to fostering a vibrant literary community and ensuring that powerful storytelling and exceptional writing receive the recognition they deserve.
The awards will recognize and reward excellence across two major language categories:
- Tamil Literature
- English Literature
Within each category, awards will be presented for the following genres:
- Best Novel
- Best Poetry Collection
- Best Short Story
The inaugural Thirai Mozhi Literature Awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in mid of September 2025.
Submission Guidelines
- Eligibility:Author should be more than 18 years old. All published, unpublished or self-published works are accepted, and may exclude those who have already won another award.
- Submission Format:All submissions with a single-page synopsis. These should be in a standard format, such as a PDF or Word document.
- Novels : Send the ebook copy if published.
- Formatting:Pay close attention to details like font size (often 12pt), spacing (often double-spaced), and font type (e.g., Times New Roman).
- Content:Entries must be original, written by you, and in English or Tamil.

சிறப்பான இலக்கியத்தை ஊக்குவிக்க ‘திரைமொழி’ இலக்கிய விருதுகளை அறிவிக்கிறது
சென்னை – இலக்கியத்தில் சிறந்து விளங்கும் படைப்பாளிகளையும் எழுத்தாளர்களையும் கௌரவிக்கும் முனைப்பான முயற்சியாக ‘திரைமொழி இலக்கிய விருதுகள்’ நிறுவப்பட்டதைத் திரைமொழி பெருமையுடன் அறிவிக்கிறது. எம்கலாச்சாரத்தை வளப்படுத்தும் எழுத்தாளர்களின் ஆழ்மான திறமை மற்றும் அர்ப்பணிப்புக்கு இந்த விருதுகள் ஆண்டுதோறும் வழங்கப்படும்.
இந்த விருதுகள் இரண்டு முக்கிய மொழி வகைகளில் சிறப்பை அங்கீகரிக்கும்:
- தமிழ் இலக்கியம்
- ஆங்கில இலக்கியம்
ஒவ்வொரு வகையிலும் பின்வரும் வகைகளில் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்படும்:
- சிறந்த நாவல்
- சிறந்த கவிதைத் தொகுப்பு
- சிறந்த சிறுகதை
முதல் ‘திரைமொழி இலக்கிய விருதுகள்’ விழா செப்டம்பர் 2025-ல் நடத்தத் திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. விண்ணப்பக் கோரிக்கைகள், தகுதி விதிமுறைகள் மற்றும் மதிப்புமிக்க நடுவர் குழு குறித்த கூடுதல் விவரங்கள் விரைவில் அறிவிக்கப்படும்.
சிறந்த கதைசொல்லல் மற்றும் இலக்கியப் படைப்புகள் அங்கீகாரம் பெறுவதை உறுதி செய்வதற்கான திரைமொழியின் உறுதிப்பாடு இந்த முன்முயற்சியில் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது.
திரைமொழி பற்றி:
கலை, பண்பாடு மற்றும் மொழியைப் பரப்புவதில் திரைமொழி உறுதிபூண்டுள்ளது. கலைஞர்கள் மற்றும் எழுத்தாளர்கள் தங்கள் படைப்புகளை வெளிப்படுத்தவும், பார்வையாளர்களை அடையவும் இது ஒரு மேடையை வழங்குகிறது.
சமர்ப்பிக்கும் வழிகாட்டுதல்
தகுதி:
ஆசிரியர் 18 வயதுக்கு மேற்பட்டவராக இருக்க வேண்டும். வெளியிடப்பட்ட, வெளியிடப்படாத அல்லது சுயமாக வெளியிடப்பட்ட படைப்புகள் அனைத்தும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படும். ஏற்கனவே வேறு ஒரு விருதை வென்றவர்கள் விலக்கப்படலாம்.
சமர்ப்பிக்கும் வடிவம்:
அனைத்து படைப்புகளும் ஒரு பக்கச் சுருக்கத்துடன் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். இவை PDF அல்லது Word ஆவணமாக, ஒரு நிலையான வடிவில் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
நாவல்கள்:
வெளியிடப்பட்டிருந்தால், மின்புத்தக (ebook) பிரதியை அனுப்பவும்.
வடிவமைப்பு:
எழுத்துரு அளவு (12pt), இடைவெளி (இரட்டைப் பக்க இடைவெளி), எழுத்துரு வகை (Times New Roman போன்றவை) போன்ற விவரங்களுக்கு அதிக கவனம் செலுத்தவும்.
உள்ளடக்கம்:
பதிவுகள் இயல்பானதாக, நீங்களே எழுதியதாக, மேலும் ஆங்கிலம் அல்லது தமிழில் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
கட்டணம்:
இலவசம்.
